Clubhouse

When the Club was founded in 1905, with the original 9-hole course, the Clubhouse was a single room within a farmhouse. While the clubhouse has grown in size and quality since then, in 2015 the members elected to implement an exciting programme of development and improvements.

Work started on site in Oct 2016 and was completed in June 2017. The clubhouse now provides a luxurious and modern environment for members and functions throughout the year.

The Rowbotham Lounge

The Rowbotham Lounge, named after the Club's greatest benefactor, is a very comfortable golfers lounge to discuss that great round or missed putt! This room has had a significant makeover and extension with a new bar and furniture along with a new picture window giving great views up the first fairway. The room includes two sports sized TVs for those important sporting fixtures as well as an area for some quiet time to read the papers with a coffee.

Our clubhouse provides an excellent range of food each morning for that bacon roll to get the round started through to late afternoon for the post match snack. Event catering can also be provided on request.

Other works that have been carried out include a new main entrance and totally refurbished Gents toilets and showers.

All in all, a great clubhouse to complement one of Cheshire’s finest golf courses.      

The Ramsdale Lounge - the function room

Named after the Club's founder, the Ramsdale Lounge is a contemporary function room, providing light and spacious accommodation for up to 150 guests.

The room provides a warm, welcoming and attractive venue, enjoying magnificent views over one of our most attractive water features, and across the golf course to the distant hills of the Peak National Park.

The function room is perfect, with lovely views out onto the golf course, an outside veranda area which was lovely in the early evening, its own entrance to the venue and a designated bar area, we couldn't have asked for more.
